The Advocacy Action Alliance is a source of news, resources, standards and discussion for advocacy providers in England and Wales

Membership

The Advocacy Action Alliance (AAA) will have two types of membership:

Core members

Core membersof the AAA are organisations providing indpeendent advocacy services either locally, regionally, or nationally, or whose main activity focuses on advocacy (such as training or service user-led groups). They are expected to make financial or in-kind contributions to the running of the national Alliance based on a sliding scale in relation to their annual turnover.

Affiliate

Affiliate members of the AAA are organisations (or other alliances) not directly providing advocacy services or where advocacy only represents a small part of their activity but who can demonstrate that they are active in supporting independent advocacy in general. In the proposed future governance structure they will have representation on the steering group. They are expected to make financial or in-kind contributions to the running of the AAA.
